Advice on 45

I love my S&W Government 1911. It was the first gun I bought and I will keep it forever.

I've got abut a dozen 1911's by Colt, Springfield. Para and Kahr AO. My Kahr AO had a bear of a trigger when I got it. But after a action job it's a sweet shooter. I also love Sig's but do not have one in .45. I'd go with the AO and budget for a action job.

Of course anything can break. In that case I'd bet there was something endemically wrong with the guy's gun/mags/ammo.

I've seen them all die on the line. I've just seen P220s die -less-.
