Another GOINO - Gun owner in name only.

Hats off to anyone who served in the military and doubly so if you served in combat. My undying respect and gratitude for your service and sacrifice.

But don’t come back here and think you earned the right to tell me what rights I can have or how to exercise them.

The only bridging I need from that idiot is for him to step off one like Chuck Stewart.

wicked gay story.
guy sounds like a soft bottom.
with people like him in SS plt. no wonder the Marines said f*** it!

Male author with hyphenated last name...

He could be of Spanish descent. I had Prof Martin-Diaz back in Collitch. . . . 34 years ago. He was not Prof Diaz but Prof Martin if you only used one name. Diaz was his mom's maiden name and that was common, I guess.

This guy and his name don't look to Spanish in descent, though. LOL

Nothing particularly bad about that article. Really depends on your mindset when you click on it.
It’s the author building rapport with gun owners. Expect future articles to move towards questioning why you need an AR and the author eventually making the “right decision” to give his up.

Could very well end up the case. But I won't shit on him for things he might do, just what actions he does do.

Chatted with the police chief in my home town earlier today.

She said that since the new law was announced and enacted applications for firearm license applications are through the roof.

She’s chatted with a few folks about why they want the license. Many said they don’t intend to buy a gun. But they want to make sure they have the right and ability going forward. In essence Healy’s folly, aka 4884, has caused a huge spike in applications across the state.

The chief even said criminals don’t pay attention to laws like this, so they only impact law abiding citizens.

Agree with you that this article in not unreasonable. The trouble with this series is that the outcome is pre-ordained. If in his journey he comes to anything other than the conclusion that we should not be able to own AR-15's he will be dismissed from the New York Times and probably blacklisted in the industry. Would be fun though if that happens and he started writing for some pro-gun outlet...
