What's up everyone,
I just finished another Shield stipple job for an old buddy of mine. Unlike the full body stipple I did on mine (pics in Gun Gallery), he wanted just the front and back straps done along with the trigger guard and magazine...

I'm wanring to get this done on two guns, my m&p and my glock. Where are you located? I honestly dont have the time to do it myself, and dont mind dropping it off to someone to have it done.

Looks great Dan - nice work.

Thanks Alex! I've been trying to post a positive iTrader rating for you from our transaction but I can't seem to figure out. If you wouldn't mind, would you please send me a PM with how to do that. I'd like to make sure you get credit. Thanks!

That's pretty sick, bet it glues the Shield to your hand.

IMO, it makes all the difference especially on a compact pistol such as the Shield. I've tried the Talon grips and while they work nicely, when they stay on, nothing beats the real deal of a nice stipple. Thanks!

Wow, looks great!
I appreciate that.

Hi guys, I'm the guy that just got my m&p shield .40 stippled by Danny. I just bought it on Sunday. I been looking into getting it done and I even tried it myself on one my Walther blowback BB guns. It looked easy to do, so I tried it myself. Glad I left my gun in the hands of someone that knows what he's doing because its harder than it looks. I'm pretty unpatient and don't have a steady hand so I pretty much did a hack job on my $100 BB gun.
Danny did a awesome job and glad he's close by so I can have him do a few of my other guns. I have to say the gun feel soooo much more secure in my hand. Highly recommend the stippling by Danny.

You're alright man! Thanks for the feedback. It was a pleasure, I look forward to taking care of your other firearms. Merry Christmas!!

Just some busy work out of the work shop area in my basement. I've recieved some requests to stipple for others after they had seen the work I did on my Shield but haven't done any others.

Be careful and keep a low profile you never know who is watching these posts. This is considered gunsmithing without a license. Unless you have an FFL you could end up in big trouble.
I know this happened to me a few years back when I was operating as JDL Sales. I am OK now because I hooked up with Remsport Mfg. and work under their FFL at their place of business. If you would like to discuss what happened to me call me anytime 413 579 1994
Very nice work by the way.

Thanks a bunch for the heads up! I was contacted by another gunsmith about the same topic. I was completely unaware of the licensing required to do this type of work. I did not charge my buddy for it and he was with me when I did it so I never actually "acquired" his pistol. Believe me, I will not be doing any work on anyone's firearms until I have the proper licensing. I don't want any trouble with anybody! Thanks again!
