AR15 Lessons learned

Tonight I spent some time at the range with my first AR. Here's what
I learned:

* An AR15 shoots just like a real gun, but someone took away the recoil!

* M193 shot through a post ban 16" barrel makes a BIG flash
(XM193 is bad, Guat is insane)

* after which, AE .223 feels like shooting a .22lr


Overall, I had a great time. I can see how these things are addictive.

You've caught the disease. Welcome to the club.

And yes, full power 556 NATO has some punch to it. Even on a preban
with the regular style birdcage there is still some flash with XM193!
