AR15 pistol build brace + 14.5 barrel.. any maximum length legal limits?

That ~12.5" was measured trigger face straight to rear of the brace.

Ive seen SBA3 and 4's down here at the gun shop.... with a fixed 5 hex tube that sets the brace at 13.5" LOP....no shorter, no longer. The guy at the shop said these are considered braces. They are more reasonably priced compared to the adjustables.

Nowhere near 13.5 on a carbine tube. Just don't run it on an A5

A5 should work with SBA3 for not exceeding 13.5.
A regular carbine tube with SBA3 has 12.5 and A5 is ~0.75 longer than carbine tube. With A5 you should get somewhere around 13.25.
