Bodyguard 2.0

Never understood why people care what color a "concealed" carry gun is. Except that "black" probably hides better if you are trying to conceal it. It's not like they're "Barbecue guns" for show.

I could have a Black grip sleeve.

The purple just looks so cool.

I'm the only one who see it. That is ok.

But the point is that the Bodyguard is both smaller overall AND more more capable than the G43.

The differences are not significant enough to not be palpable to most people. And I'm not saying the BG 2.0 is a bad gun either, but every time some new wunder gun comes out it's rarely worth the transactional costs of attempting to "upgrade. "

Ummmm I bought a no safety version 3ish weeks ago (in mass from a mostly fudd ffl).

different FFLs interrupt the list differently. I know one of my local shops wouldn't sell them... had to track down a FFL that would.

The approval for the older bodyguard just said "Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 .380 ACP"

so shops were selling the new Bodyguard under the conclusion that the new Bodyguard is still a Bodyguard chambered in 380ACP.

It’s all set- has a loaded chamber indicator.

One of the better known semi-fudd shops in metrowest had one in the case a couple weeks ago when I was in there. Interestingly they don’t list them on their otherwise generally up to date website.

I agree with this. I carried the same G26 for 10+ years. The first P365 I purchased is the one I still carry most. (Because its the smallest and lightest)

I tend to stick with something and learn to shoot it better.

But every once in a while, something comes around that is worlds better than what came before. And then it's worth the upgrade.

IMHO, the Bodyguard 2.0 is one of those guns. It shoots as well as a G42. It's as small as a LCP and holds as much ammo as an LCP Max.

I'm also more likely to spend the money on the latest and greatest pocket gun since this is the kind of gun I carry most.
I got rid of my great shooting G42 because It was too large for me to pocket carry.
I really like my LCP Max, but it's not any fun to shoot.

The BG 2.0 is both small and fun to shoot. That's worth the upgrade for me.
