Good to know.To follow-up, RCBS sent me a replacement bolt and washer.
It appears to be a 1/4-32 bolt. I'm unsure if the bolts are treated (as in Grade 8 or something).
If you don’t have one of these, you need one. It’s the single best investment you can make for Lee pot.Looking to get some Pot covers cut for the Lee Pro 20
Want to get a count before I order so I can keep the costs down
Should be $10 with a probe bracket.

I would try to get your hands on some coated bullets.Ok guys. first of all I know nothing about casting. I've looking for jacketed .475 projectiles with on luck.
I just picked up a 475 wildey. cant use lead. Is there some sort of a real hard coating that can be used?
yes thats my thought. The gas system. I really dont want to get into casting but thought i could buy the mold and have someone do it. maybe 100 or so is all I would needI would try to get your hands on some coated bullets.
Get on CastBoolits forum and ask those guys if someone can send you some hi-tek coated or some powder coated. Better yet some of each.
Or if you buy a mould and find a local that casts and coats. Maybe you can try before you jump in.
What’s the issue with cast? Leading up with the gas system?
Probably super expensive.
Hard cast? Just a harder alloy and or water dropping the same alloy or heat treating for hardness.OK so i've read that you can shoot hard cast through the wildey. Does anyone here do that. And what is the difference?
Theres really no reason you cant run cast in the widely.OK so i've read that you can shoot hard cast through the wildey. Does anyone here do that. And what is the difference?

Common issue with 9mm. Crimp just enough to remove the bell.I think I may have found the cause of my 9mm leading. @pastera got me thinking and I measured my diameters as the bullet progressed through my press. All was good till I got to the crimp die… found the squeeze to be down to .350. I adjusted and now I’m back to testing.
You need a 45-70. It eats up more lead than the 45 ACPI was hi-tek and lubing them… to .356 and .357/.358. Different powders..: the easy answer was to just turn them into 45’s
Why not both?I backed off the die and plink tested till it chambered. 45-70……. I haven’t picked anything up in a while. I have to get on my cast muzzle loader project before deer season.
Could also be not enough expansionI was hi-tek and lubing them… to .356 and .357/.358. Different powders..: the easy answer was to just turn them into 45’s
