I thought I was the only one that was a victim of TE…. I blame it on everything but casting and reloading.

I had enough of one of my LEE molds this weekend. Last time I used it, it cast great. This Friday, I threw away 90 out of 100 bullets. I can't get the temp right, might be getting too hot for bottom pour. I drop the bullets and the nose are not fully solid.
I used the NOE for the first time and it was a dream, I always throw away the first 7 or 8 while the mold gets hot, after that, it drops such nice and clean bullets, I am considering sending them one of the bullets from my BACO mold and asking them to make me a 4 cavity mold.
I love the BACO mold, but the weight gets to me after a while and casting one bullet at a time gets old. Nothing like dropping 4 perfect 396 grain bullets.
Also, I received my first Pedersoli mold for their .547 minie (for the 1857M "mauser"). That mold looks really nice.
I have read the accurate's tolerances are not as tight as BACO.If you want custom go accurate. @1919FAN son had a custom made for his 351 self loader. Steel. By far the best bullet mould I’ve ever handled. It was flawless and produce the best looking bullets I’ve ever seen.
Very interesting. I would love to see some results. Ask 1919FAN about that mould. It’s amazing.I have read the accurate's tolerances are not as tight as BACO.
It was some forum talking about casting, came across it while Googling. (Not cast boolits).
Pedersoli.
Took me a good 15 minutes to clean all the grease they put on it, it was like the SKS of molds, and I am still not finished.

It is a hollow base, except the part that makes the base hollow is removed by hand. What is this ? is that a hollow base Trash Can mould ?
I see burns, lots of burns with that one.Pedersoli.

I might modify the wooden handle so it is shorter.I see burns, lots of burns with that one.
Wow serious collection there. Now let’s see some bullets!I saw this thread and thought about taking photos of all my moulds.
Then I thought about editing all the non Lee pics, cause no one thinks Lee moulds look sexy, and the list was still to long for my ambitions.
So I made a list of them all and probably missed a few.
My BACO moulds are beautiful.
The Paul Jones ones are art work and cast bullets without any lines where the mould halves meet.
The 45 H&G is the most amazing one to cast with, a tap on the hinge pin while opening and the bullets fall out.View attachment 638445View attachment 638446View attachment 638447
Maybe just a couple sexy ones.If I'm gonna take photos of the bullets, I might as well do the moulds as well huh?
Perhaps tomorrow I'll get the time to take some.
Stop teasing us. Pics of your casting cave or it's all BS ...I saw this thread and thought about taking photos of all my moulds.

I think im going to order the MP . 452 x 340gr RNFP for my . 460 SW mag .
Too light for 45/70It’s a little short but I bet you could paper patch it up for the 45-70
Too light for 45/70
He has a lot of gas check molds. Scroll down, many habe options to and gas check is one.Just realized it wont work for 460 mag, its a plain base, i need gas check base. Im running hard cast up around 1700 fps in my 460
No just send em uncoated. Have yet to observe any leading. Shooting the 460 beats up my wrists so after like 20 rounds ive had enough. Its not one of my "high volume " shooters. Ill go back and look at the GC molds. He has a lot of gas check molds. Scroll down, many habe options to and gas check is one.
Those velocities, do you also Hi-tek?
