Concealed carry weapon in MA riddle

This is exactly my point. So what if there is a premium in MA? It's $150. That's a half dozen boxes of ammo. What does it matter what the price is elsewhere? It's just the way it is in MA. I'd pay TWICE that if I had to for the tool I'm going to stake my LIFE on.

You pay a premium in Massachusetts for a lot of things: gas, housing, fresh produce. It's just the way things are. But I don't refuse to fill up my gas tank because gas is only $3 in Florida, or deny my family fresh produce because it costs half as much in California.

In the grand scheme of things, $750 (which is not necessarily the price of a GLOCK in MA, current silliness aside) is not an unfair price for a tool you're going to use every day, that's going to be drop dead reliable and that will last you forever.

The point is that Glock is a great choice but it isn't the only choice for a proven, reliable firearm that you will bet your life on.

Mostly lemons, most people have a ton of issues with them but one or two members have a good working LC9. The PM9 is light years better IMHO. Even the CM9 is the same price and way better.

I went in to Four Seasons last summer looking for the Kahr PM9 and they talked me into the LC9. I liked the feel of the Ruger better, and so I bought it. Despite the "LC9 is junk" thread on NES, I've been shooting it regularly with no trouble. It's starting to get "holster wear" but other than that it's as fine as the day I bought it. Won't shoot Zombie Max, but eats regular JHP just fine.

Disclaimer: it does have along trigger pull and won't fire without a mag, but other than that no complaints.
