Cowboy Action Shooting schedules

I had the pleasure of watching and meeting many of the Circle K Regulators ( http://www.circlekregulators.com/ ) at Ken Schmidt's annual Open House at his home/studio in upstate New York. They are some of the most gracious shooters I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I posted some pictures of them shooting in the Clubs section. If you are within two hours of Ken's place his Open House is an event you should consider attending.

Be good to see you guys out there again. Get Jack out there too. Since Mansfield has stopped CAS I guess Manville, Scituate, Harvard or Bass River would be closest. for you now.

If anybody goes to Manville, swing by the trap range and say hi (right next to the pistol ranges). I'm there every sunday morning shooting trap from 9:30 to whenever we're done.

Scituate is the best for me because it's on Sat.

I have made two shoot there. Sundays are VERY difficult for me as I have many church commitments.

Manville is doing something interesting this year. they are running a "Pike" class. Based on the movie "The Wild Bunch". Any turn of the century gun is Ok. You would need a basic 1911 or a pencil barreled revolver or both ( I use two mil spec 1911's 5 shots each). A pump shotgun. A lever action rifle in a pistol caliber. .38, 44 45 etc. Or a Broomhandle or 1903 or Mauser. Loaded down with lead bullets.
Dress would either be Cowboy or WWI military.

Well friends. Scituate will be running a match on March 29th and I hope to be there shooting for a change. Don't be afraid to stop by and say howdy.
