no issues in functionality I believe. Gen5’s have the orange follower vs black and the extended front lip on the baseplate. to my knowledge those are the only differences. Those are "back-up-the-truck" prices. OEM G19 mags for $13, happy sticks for $18, Magpuls for $5.
Whats the deal with different gen mags? I know the newer ones have the notch for the mag release on both sides, but will they all work regardless of the generation of the mag or pistol? Gen4-5 mag works ok on a Gen2,3 pistol?
Yeah I saw that but at <$10 it may be worth picking up some for range dayspromag?
hmm no.

the fact that promag still exists is proof that most people never use their firearms
Only if you want to practice malfunctions. Friends don't let friends buy ProMagYeah I saw that but at <$10 it may be worth picking up some for range days
Fair enough. I dont own any ProMag (although Ive heard the stories) and I dont own an M1 carbine. Just saw the sale and figured Id pass it on.Only if you want to practice malfunctions. Friends don't let friends buy ProMag
TBF I only own the one, but that's enough: when I finished my first AR, I needed something to function check with. The nearest LGS had them cheap and I didn't know better, so I bought a 10-rounder. Stuck it in the magwell, and it went in too far. Had to disassemble the rifle to get it out.Fair enough. I dont own any ProMag (although Ive heard the stories) and I dont own an M1 carbine. The 19X is the only gun I’ve read multiple people say has fitment issues with gen5 magazines. Everything else seems to work fine.Whats the deal with different gen mags? I know the newer ones have the notch for the mag release on both sides, but will they all work regardless of the generation of the mag or pistol? Gen4-5 mag works ok on a Gen2,3 pistol? Any reason why the follower colors are different?
This. I wouldn’t take those mags if they were freepromag?
hmm no.

mbpriAnyone figure out if there is a way to get them shipped to another state than your prime account says?
Are 30-Round Magazines Legal in Rhode Island?
Yes, 30-round magazines are legal in Rhode Island. The state does not have magazine capacity restrictions for handguns.
100% agree. Yes, there is a special kind of burden brought by things that sort-of work.This. I wouldn’t take those mags if they were free
Go to your account. Change your primary mailing address to an address outside of MAAnyone figure out if there is a way to get them shipped to another state than your prime account says?
Nope. Switched it to Vermont. Still runs into a mag ban screen when you try to check out.Go to your account. Change your primary mailing address to an address outside of MA
doesn't VT have magazine restrictions?Nope. Switched it to Vermont. Still runs into a mag ban screen when you try to check out.

Should work if the new address is a free state. Change primary address and maybe refresh screen (?) and check out again?Nope. Switched it to Vermont. Still runs into a mag ban screen when you try to check out.
