Deals and steals

What's the difference between this blem Anderson lower and a Noveske lower that costs $1672 more? Srs question. Is it better aluminum? Does it make the gun function smoother? Does the Anderson break and Noveske stand up to nuclear bombs? What do I get more for 60x the price?

Srsly??

Ambi bolt & mag release with hardware, upper/lower tensioning screw. Better customer service - that you'll probably never need because Noveske inspects more. Better finish than a blemished Anderson. :p

After that, the ability to name drop, flex on the poors, etc., None of which I care about - I'm willing to be my own QA staff for 1/60th the price. The Noveske's are really, really nice - but not in any way that would convince me to spend the extra.

Actually the Noveske lower in question is just a straight up mil spec deal, very much the same as an Andersen in all but name. And it’s very rare to be able to find any noticeable defects on the blems.

Better QC and consistent specs.

And a cool hat.

I'm somewhat surprised that it hasn't set in already.
Stopped by BassPro to see if they stocked ammo I needed(they didnt!). The firearms desk place was hopping! Three salespeople were going nonstop with a line of a dozen people waiting for their turn and another group waiting for their background check results.

It wasn't the nutty crowds that I saw back in 2020 but it definitely was up from the usual.

Is the Kamala panic gearing up?

A Kamala panic??? Now??? Seriously???

Nobody told me. :( Hell, I thought we were still in a Maura panic right now and until 10/23 due to the new Monstrosity anti-2A law. 🤔

Do people call customer service for a lower often?

Guess the state could vette every registration against the ATF records.....

It is up to the State to prove if the lower was not owned on or before 8/1/24. Not up to the owner. The 4473 is how the State can prove it.

80% is a different story, you will have a chance to register it, but the State has no way of knowing unless you bought it online, which leaves a record that, if they care enough, they can find. My guess is if they care enough to nail you for an 80% purchased online, you have much bigger problems. That would be the equivalent of the gov looking at your taxes because they want to nail you for other sh*t you are doing.

There is a thread in the LAW forum. I suggest you go read it.
