i will be buying my first bow this year in plans to do some hunting.
after some long hard thought,i decided to go "out side the big three"
and am going with the bear assault. i want somthing middle of the road
price wise. dont want to up grade for a while(i like guns more).
tha attack is just too much money and the strike ,well if i got it i would
wish i got the assault instead.
all you archers, what do you think of my choice ???

Part of it was price, but when I think of bows, maybe it's
me but I think Bear.It must go way back. Always been
a quality product. I also looked into Darton, but decided
Bear was tha way to go.
Nothing wrong with the others , but I want to go
outside the box.

i've been shooting for about 8 years now total. I own a Mathews and a bowtech, and i have to say that it has everything to do with the shooter. I can pick up any bow and learn to shoot it effectively over time. Bow technology has drastically improved overthe last decade and has become extremely competitive. So IMO it doesn't really matter what brand you go with, as long as you get the proper training to build your skills.

I will also add that joining a league and attending every 3-d shoot I can has really helped me out. Archers are just like gunnies, they always are willing to help out there own.
