Texas rig worms (or any plastics for that matter) work in just about any situation, top water froggin' is pretty fun if you have lots of lily pads and the like.
Carolina or texas rigs. The north side of my lake gets dense in summer and if I flip or spin it slow and feel the stalks I won't get snagged on anything but fish mouth.
I use Banjo Minows - "As Seen On TV"....Got them as a gift and though labor intensive to set up, they work like a charm. Have caught bass where I didn't think any existed...
senkos are the ticket for me. Me personally I like fishing early and late season when there are no weeds. I like throwing a big spinner for bass and pickerel.
