as i got used to working from my basement anything more than 15min away drive time became 'far'.If you live in mass that's not that far unless you're like on the tip of the cape or something. It's literally in the middle of 495.![]()
It’s an hour and 45 so realistically 4 hours driving maybe 45 min there that’s a 5 hour occasion. I have a Jobas i got used to working from my basement anything more than 15min away drive time became 'far'.
and 45min+ - a 'far-far away'![]()
I work 40-60hrs a week and made 4 hr roundtrips to buy and sell all the time. My guess is is that you obviously don't need to sell it bad enough you're probably better off just keeping whatever it is you're trying to sell. It’s an hour and 45 so realistically 4 hours driving maybe 45 min there that’s a 5 hour occasion. One time I wanted to do a private sale this guy wouldn't do it unless I met him at the DUNKS near his house lol. Wouldn't make the 20 min drive to my FFL.I get that and i hate commuting the older i get

How do you know you are out of privates? How does the state know you are out of privates?I am wanting to sell a Glock, but I am out of privates any dealers that will do the transfer?
This.....Crackpot always has the answers. There is no FA-10 needed. How do you know you are out of privates? How does the state know you are out of privates?
The only current requirement for a private transfer that you are capable of satisfying is to validate the recipients license. FA10s are not a thing (the new law removed all references). The new EFRS (electronic firearms registration system) compliant with 121B has not been implemented yet. So validate license and sell the gun. No other paperwork is legally required at this time. Eventually you will need to use the EFRS for personal transfers, but not until they actually implement it.
So, how do you know you are out and how does the state know?
who counting ?I am wanting to sell a Glock, but I am out of privates any dealers that will do the transfer?

Ive got buckets of these stories....in the end it was....selling for a fair (probably too cheap) price. Come to me if you want it. It also depends on the value...Im not driving an hour to sell a 300 dollar gun to some jackass that cant at least meet me halfway. One time I wanted to do a private sale this guy wouldn't do it unless I met him at the DUNKS near his house lol. Wouldn't make the 20 min drive to my FFL.
Sometimes I'll put a Q&A in my WTS ads, after stating the acceptable meeting spots. One time I wanted to do a private sale this guy wouldn't do it unless I met him at the DUNKS near his house lol. Wouldn't make the 20 min drive to my FFL.
F#ck it no will not do.Then learn to go without.
Buyer is in Watertown/boston area, near your FFL?Where is your buyer from?
At least you have instant transfers in MA. I won't drive very far in NH, because with the Gunline, you never know how busy it will be and how long it will take. Some dealers prefer to fax in the check (I get it - so you're not on hold) but that can take a lot longer. I'm caretaking for an ill spouse, so I don't have all day to be gone.I get that and i hate commuting the older i get
