Recieved mine on 7/6/11 from Cambridge PD. 65 days total. Class A Restrictions Target and Hunting as an active duty Marine. Pretty red if you ask me.
Rehoboth was cool,no restrictions.about 5 weeks.
Northfield Ma, Green
Hey guys, just got my 1st class a no res. in Northfield ma. I did have to meet with a cop to file the application, but they let me through with just a hunters safety course. They also hand delivered my card to my door when it came in!
Anyways, the officer was as cool as they come and very helpful throughout the process. Northfield Ma is GREEN.

Westboro is definaely green. All I wrote down for reason if issuance was All Lawful Purposes. Got my LTC Class A with no restrictions in 4 weeks
My wife and I applied at the same time. She got her's in 4 weeks + 1 day. I am going on 8 weeks.
I feel like they process applications in batches. If you miss the cut-off, you're in for the long haul.
two people I know just got theirs in methuen this week, they said there was a list of 10+ people who's license came inBillV:1965649 said:

damn yeah, one of my friends was a 1st time app, took 6 weeks
one of my coworkers went to upgrade from a b(1st time applying was when Solomon was out of office) to an a one week after that, they both got called the same day
Hmm. Well I suppose if the map is outdated someone will have to mention it - but I didn't think any towns had changed.
North Andovers new chief appears to have somewhat changed. 2 of my friends got restrictions lifted( they got their licenses last summer) Just went in asked to have the restrictions lifted. Still don't know if they will give ALP for first time applicants but they might!

One of my students Just reported Unrestricted from Hudson - First time app. Nothing really special (except a great instructor).
I just went through the process of applying for a Class A LTC in Bridgewater. I was told that you will be approved for what you ask for as long as your paperwork is truthful (duh) and your record is clean (duh x2)
The latest update to the current list is 07-18-11.
Templeton might be an orange at this point, when I got my LTC Whitiker said that he will not issue me an LTC unless specifically needed for an employment purpose. That was in 2007 might of changed now but I just wanted to let it be known.
He won't issue a LTC or will he only issue a restricted LTC? Just curious because there is a huge difference.

. It is most definitely still a RED city, possibly black. The hoops I had to jump through to convince the LEO of my constitutional rights were almost not worth it. I thought now that St. Pierre was out of the picture that the stance on unrestricted class A's would be different, but that was not the case. I was told by the LEO that ALP are only given to business owners in Salem with a good reason I.E. carry large sums of money on their person. So good luck to anyone who lives in Salem and is seeking ALP, the only thing I can suggest is to start a small business and apply for a DBA or LLC.

Plainfield GREEN. Police chief gave me no problems and even said I could apply for my machine gun license, if I wanted to. I went with the LTC-A. He believes strongly of peoples 2A rights and will surely issue an LTC-A to any one with a clean history.
