No with the exception of sanctioned events like USPSA and MWT practices. Can you use PCC in the indoor range?
I think you have a few people (me included) that would put in new pieces if they were available. I noticed that same thing this weekend. Of course, if you left them out, people might take them. I vote for 2x4 sheets since one person could do that. 4x4 is a little tougher for one person. So doing a sunday walk around, looks like the idiots have finally won again, all the target frames at the 100 are so badly shot that they're about to fall down, thanks to all the shotgun pellets and folks stapling targets to the frames.
The hundred gets hammered, just a fact. We did some spitballing and were wondering, if we made the frame to use a no screws 4' sheet of plywood, do you think if plywood was available in either 2x4 or 4x4 piece, would folks be good enough to slide in a new sheet or think they'd just keep blasting and pin the targets to the frames? We will be sawing up some new posts and cross members hopefully next week and if the weather is good, a work party on 3/30 to assemble it.
When people walk toward frames with shotguns and destroy them from 10-20 yds it is just disgusting. So doing a sunday walk around, looks like the idiots have finally won again, all the target frames at the 100 are so badly shot that they're about to fall down, thanks to all the shotgun pellets and folks stapling targets to the frames.

we can promote them to non-members. shotgun shells were observed at less than half range. When people walk toward frames with shotguns and destroy them from 10-20 yds it is just disgusting.
It should not be tolerated to let them walk past the bridge and destroy stands.
well no screws is easy enough to do, that's what the 300 is using, plywood up by the benches or down by the shed?I think you have a few people (me included) that would put in new pieces if they were available. The current frames allow you to slide it in the bottom and screw the top. All you need is a screw gun which I don’t see as a big impediment. So, I don’t think it needs to be totally screw free.
In the future, who can we contact to get new pieces of plywood? The pieces get used at different rates so it wouldn’t be hard to replace one at a time.
I should be able to make the 3/30 date. Enjoy the Sunday morning work parties, as long as we don’t go past 9 and get yelled at![]()
Down by the shed is my votewell no screws is easy enough to do, that's what the 300 is using, plywood up by the benches or down by the shed?
Well, when the plywood gets shot out pretty bad, instead of picking a different target frame they staple it to anything.I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to staple your targets to the cardboard and not to the wood frames. Hell, even when I shoot my Lewis gun I can keep it all on the paper and not shred the frames.
Dunno how to enforce it, but at least a sign saying ‘no shooting past the bridge’ is probably necessary.we can promote them to non-members. shotgun shells were observed at less than half range.
Very simple - the firing line at the 100 is the f***ing 100yd line. If they want to shoot 25, 50, or blow shit up with a shotgun, there are plenty of other ranges in which they can do that. Start yanking memberships and the bullshit will stop.Dunno how to enforce it, but at least a sign saying ‘no shooting past the bridge’ is probably necessary.
As if I put long pipe on my 1301 and walk 5 yds close with buckshot, no stand and no post will survive it. It just needs to stop.
It's pretty simple math. As the membership goes up the number of a**h***s goes up. If the club wants all that dues money, they'll have to deal with all those a**h***s.
It's been stable around 3000 for the last 5 or so. We tend to lose a couple hundred at renewal time, then gain back a couple hundred through new applicantsCan we get #'s from the membership person as to membership headcount for the last 10 years?

Bring anything that is legal in MA.Member of HSC, but moved to NH 2.5 years ago. Retained membership to support the club and also to ease possible meet ups with friends who are members. My question is simple but I am sure the answer is complicated -I have not been following the MA law changes in detail. In brief...
I have a unexpired MA resident LTC, from when I was a MA resident with all required change of address notifications completed. I do not have a NR license. From a conservative perspective, which if any types of firearms may I bring to to HSC for target shooting events either on my own or with MA member friends?
PS: Yes, I have plenty of range options in NH, but my question emphasizes joining friends in MA.

He said pretty clearly that he updated his address appropriately.I’m not a lawyer but it’s my understanding that the Buffalo shoot at Harvard was cancelled and moved to NH because out of state shooters couldn’t bring their guns into MA with the new laws. This would affect you as well.
As to your license, did you change your drivers license to NH? Also I think you have a very short window to inform the Firearms Department when you move as well as the licensing town department by law. From your question I’m assuming you didn’t do that.
J stop the shotguns at the 100 they are not shooting from the firing line ! and seeing the results they are probably going to shoot themselves doing that Rambo $hit.So doing a sunday walk around, looks like the idiots have finally won again, all the target frames at the 100 are so badly shot that they're about to fall down, thanks to all the shotgun pellets and folks stapling targets to the frames.
