If I Buy A "Pre 8/1" Lower - How Do I Know It Was In State If No FA10? Also, A New Section In The Classifieds For Pre 8/1 Guns

The language of the memo was:
Additionally, under the Act and 501 CMR 7.00, dealers may continue to sell shotguns and rifles so long as they are not otherwise prohibited in Massachusetts, pending further guidance from the Firearms Control Advisory Board.

Would this not include “grandfathered” long guns as they are ‘not otherwise prohibited’? (Not receivers though)

Or was there additional non-public “further guidance” relating to dealer re-sale of used pre-bans?
Yes, it would include exempt firearms.
As far as further guidance I don't know since I'm not a dealer

I've seen contrary evidence at an FFL...
Absolutely true. I was at a gun store last week buying a brand new glock and the dealer sold a Daniel Defense ar15 with all the assorted badass accoutritoments to some random schmuck. I was curious on how that was possible but since another ar15 is the last thing I need I didn't ask any questions and don't give a fu ck on what loophole was being exercised.

Point is..... there are options out there.

That is awesome news.

Looks like some dealers don't give a rats rear end about the new law.

I wonder if such an AR transaction is going into eFA10?

Shocking if it is.

Shocking if it is not.

Either way, the flood gates are opening up and the state has no recourse to stop any of it.

Marsha has overstepped her ground with this law to the point that nobody cares.

I'd be curious to see if any dealers totally flaunt their wares on ads on the internet showing much coveted items.

Reptile: "I can do this! I can follow this law and make others follow it too! We can make our own compliant section on NES! I got this!"

I can tell that freedom REALLY scares some people here.

That's why I post on here.

Sometimes I think I have a great idea but when I bounce it against the NES Hive mind I get the answer I really want.

Seriously like go outside or something. None of this is as dramatic, edgy, risky, etc. as you're making it up to be. You need to figure out that genuflecting everytime goal posts gibberish or a box store employs some dumb policy, that none of that stuff is reflective of the actual laws as they exist in the real world.
