Buy a Webley and you won't have to.I still can't keep the letters of revolver frames straight...
i hear those russian trained bears are a handful. you don't want to stumble across one jumping through a hoop in the wild.Soviet Nagant for hiking in woods.
Not helpful, I have no idea what that means... lolBuy a Webley and you won't have to.
Where exactly is the letter on the frame? None of my revolvers have the frame letter on them or in their model name/number.They didn't letter the frame sizes. They gave them handy model names (and sometimes numbers)

Tough to get warranty work done, though, sadly.

Exactly. It's freaking stupid. My eyes roll whenever someone goes on about the frame size letter.Yeah, you're just supposed to know it. It's not an official thing. The letters evolved over time, through people using them organically.
J, K, L: small, medium, large. Then there's an N frame that's really big.

Regret getting rid of my snubbed. But I still carry my 4” 15-3 every now and then.

I carried a 13-3 IWB or in a shoulder rig for about 15 years , again with larger grips.I have a Model 13-3 with a 3" barrel that I carry from time to time. I also have a very nice Model 36-1 3" that carries very nicely in an IWB holster.

Probably the only gun I regret selling
S&W has had a lot of QC problems in the past, particularly when the company was flipped in the 70s and 80s iirc.is there anything as reliable as a (S&W) revolver?
