Legal to buy ammo in NH and bring it back

It's not the NES members that concern us, it's all the moonbats that flee the corruption and high taxes, but then come here and vote for the same nonsense. Keep your moonbats on a shorter leash!

True. There's definitely a disconnect between the policies that some people support and the consequences of those policies. They honestly dont see that the two are connected. If you attempt to point it out, you get the combination eye-roll/slow head-shake. Remember those Obamacare supporters a while back that were bitching about their health insurance rates skyrocketing?

Somebody lock this thread before the guys from NH start talking about how all of us communists keep going over the boarder to circumvent all the communist gun laws that we all voted for
I'm cool with you guys evading the communist laws all your neighbors voted for, I just wish you'd stop coming up here and buying out all the rimfire ammo and primers!

With no license required to buy ammo in NH, how the hell does a seller know where you're from? Does he keep track of all the license plates that pull into his lot? I can't imagine free staters would put up with being carded...
He can tell by the accent. Or when people act all twitchy as if going into a gun store was like buying porn or something.

Ha! I've seen guys like that in mass too!

At this point I take my chubby Mass-ass straight to Riley's and Collectible because they have the coolest staff and deserve my $$. Then i turn around, drive south and throw up a little bit everytime i pass the "welcome to Mass" sign....this is a pretty typical saturday for me.

You are not the only one. BPS opens at 0900 so that is stop one.....then Rileys cuz they open at 0900......3rd stop is shooters they open at 1000.......stop for coffee on the way to collectible on the way back. Not EVERY Saturday......but about once a month I do this. Home in time to take the boy to the club to shoot or go fishing. Yeah.....I know I probably spend more in gas over what I save on sales tax......but I shoot the shit while I'm at the shops......the shops actually HAVE ammo.......and I get to look at all the guns I can't afford! :)

For me, a big part of saving on sales tax is knowing its not going to MA. Dont get me wrong, I like to save a buck just like everyone else. However, knowing that Im starving the beast in my own little way (admittedly insignificant in the big scheme of things) makes it worthwhile. The fact that Im breaking even or losing a bit when gas is factored into the equation is irrelevant to me. Every dollar spent in NH makes the economy up there just that much stronger and is one less dollar available for the scumbags running MA.

It burns me that I pay sales tax on Amazon now. Anyone have any idea what the cut that Comm2a receives is, compared to MA sales tax?

Went to Rileys in NH today, such a different experience from MA gun stores which are tiny blacked out shops hidden behind Chinese restaurants in a strip mall. And man, the ammo is a lot cheaper than say, Four Seasons. I felt like I was in Texas or something.

You went a day early.
8/2 was their 61st anniversary they had some CRAZY good deals.
blazer brass cases of 1000rds were $235 for 9mm and $335 for .45acp, 500rd bricks of AE 22lr for $23, among other absurdly good prices.

God bless Rileys.

i honestly get an erection every time I enter their parking lot.

Doh. I can't make it up on weekends though, only on work days. :) I bought a couple boxes of Blazer 9mm for $14 each, that seemed cheap to me also.

Rileys has proven to be a great find for me over the last few months. Prices are better there than any place I've gone except for walmart......but unlike walmart they actually have ammo in stock.

Rileys has a steady supply of 38 special for I $20 a box........shooters has the exact same ammo for $23. If you shoot a lot that 3 bucks adds up over time.
22lr has been around at rileys for quite awhile.....not in bulk but I can at least plan on getting 100 rounds every time I walk in when shooters and BPS are out.

30-06 surplus is even on the shelves there.....2 pre loaded enblocs (16 rounds) per box manufactured in 1989 for 13 bucks! Not CMP pricing but I've bought a few boxes to put in the safe for "a rainy day".

There is a NES sponsor from NH here who refuses all sales to MA residents even FTF in NH . . . info as I've read it here so I'd never bother stopping there to try to buy anything.

Ammo2u
He was having a sale and a few friends asked if his policy about mass sales was only online . said he wouldn't sell to a mass rez ftf because he'd be breaking laws lol .

Strange as they posted a sale in another forum and I asked if I could call and pick something up, never mentioned I couldn't and they knew I was from Ma.. I even made sure in the follow up post about my location, I was just curious for future reference.
