Do we have any idea where they're likely to have us show up to register our guns? I hate standing in line and would love to beat the rush even if it means getting there the night before.

I heard that they were going to use the polling places so we would all know where to bring our grandpersoned weapons for in person registration.

Well, they might have you over a barrel if you go that route. Much like how they charge us a million dollars for a pre ban mag while they just go into a store and grab its replacement for a $20.00. You'r the one compelled to sell along with a bunch of others. It'll be salad days for free states, know what I mean.
Yeah, sucks being in mass. I just feel like there’s no way the senate proposal will go through, pretty much no grandfathering. But hey who knows, anything can happen with these people.

The closed rest area on Rt2 west, up in Templeton. You know, the rest area not visible by traffic. Ignore the chain link pen off to the side.

2 locations:

Deli Ticket Emporium - they already have the Deli ticket part figured our, so it makes sense.

The Gun Parlor - experts at reporting to the State of MA.

Stop I can only get so hard. I want one of these so bad and it wasn’t so much the price as I don’t have the range for it to be worth the time.

Just remember that the Barrett is technically an "anti-material rifle". It's primary use is to destroy things, so your only range requirements are:
  1. Long enough to get you far enough away from what you're blowing up to be safe (200 yards seems to be adequate).
  2. No FUDD rules that will prevent you from blowing up interesting things (hitting old riding lawnmowers with API rounds is particularly satisfying).

I still always wondered how much business and exposure they lost due to cucking out.

Considering they’re still up and running while continuing to charge exorbitant prices, probably not much in the long run. Keep in mind that the majority of gun owners in this state don’t keep up with current events related to guns.

My suspicion is MIRCS. Maybe I'm wrong.

And yes, it's a gamble buying anything now with the intent of keeping it if you can lawfully do so, or selling it out of state later if that's what you have to do to remain within the law. For sure you'll take a hit on the price if everyone in MA who is complying is dumping them all within the same short grace period.

My understanding now after talking with a couple legislators is we just don't have enough votes to count. The anti gunners can do whatever they want in the state because they can lose all of our votes and it doesn't matter to them at all. It's not about us banding together and organizing. There just plain aren't enough of us to make a difference at the polls.

The fruits of the 1998 gun reform law. It was meant to reduce both the number of FFLs and the LTC holders and it worked. Of course the media is on their side and show will tell their viewers/listeners that this will make MA residents more safe.

Oh man. If there’s no grandfathering and people start selling at a loss during the grace period, I’m going to be swimming in “post-Healey” ARs!

Wait, so the marxist twatwhistles on Beacon Hill think we'll wait in lines and register things if they deem to allow a "grandfather clause"? I suspect a rash of boating accidents in the near future...

Stop having f***ing boating accidents and tell the State to stack up.

Hi I am new to the forum, just curious what is everyone doing? Is anyone haulting on purchases or are you guys still buying? Was initially interested in the sig spear LT, now I’m not sure if I should get it or not.
Ain't a law yet. And being a pussy about it is what they want to happen. Just buy what you can, when you can., as much as you can. Even if they SAY it is illegal, if you can buy it, buy it. Eff em.

I actually think they will drop that one from the final bill. The Barrett is not something that a gangbanger will use in a drive by or a crazy kid to shoot up a school... But I seem to recall one of our esteemed politicians saying that a 50 cal rifle is dangerous "because you can shoot down airplanes and satellites". Very killy so we shall see.
If it can shoot down an F-15, then you better believe it will be included in this bill!
