Major explosion at gun range

"The Fresno County Sheriff's Office confirms that there has been an explosion and fire at the peace officers gun range on Weber Avenue in Northwest Fresno; that's near Highway 99 and Herndon Avenue.

Officials say crews were doing line work and struck a gas line. They say there are multiple burn victims."

I heard this on the national news tonight. The lead-in to the story made it sound as if reason for the explosion had something to do with the gun range. As it turned out, it had nothing to do with it. WTF?
