Depends on the zone and how many the f and g is issuing. Pressure is higher out there in the Nether regions lol. People actually hunt out thattaway

I hunt zone 9 and have doe tags now 5 straight years.

Whoah, what happened on the Cape? I thought it was like MVY and ACK for tags (you could get as many as you want and if you killed any deer without a tag, no one was going to be that upset).

Ready to get 2 or 3 Zone 10s over the next couple days.
 
ok.. here's a stupid question.. first time hunting licensee here..

I've yet to get my hunting license.. I got the HunterEd done... Now when I go to get my Hunting license, I can't find a place to apply for (add to cart) a doe tag... Am I missing something?

The deadline to apply is July 16th and is long past. All that will be available is over the counter doe permits for the eastern zones.

My wife and son also got doe tags. We are filling that freezer this year!

2 mild winters in a row. A nice wet summer this year so mast should be plentiful come September. I'm prediction g a bumper harvest this year.
 
I tried for zone 2 but didn't get it. I think I can see if extras are avail for zone 9 or something.

Edit: Surplus permits go on sale in October according to the site.

We will be posting the dates to the website later today:
Zone 11: Sales start on Tuesday, October 3 at 8 a.m.
Zone 10: Sales start on Wednesday, October 4 at 8 a.m.
Zone 13 and 14: Sales start on Thursday, October 5 at 8 a.m.
