Massachusetts Bill HD.4420 "An act to modernize gun Laws"

Except… they didn’t…
Did MA get AWB extended indefinitely?
Did they pass red flag laws allowing gun confiscation?
Did they introduce a "gun roster" to make most common guns virtually impossible to acquire?
Did they introduce a gun registry, call it a "transaction portal" and then leak information on what every gun owner in MA has!?

You're right, they didn't dare...

HD.4420 has "no grandfathering". It has "serialized parts" that no company serialized.

This is not pantshitting, this is reality.
Not only that, it literally has language in the bill telling the MSP to set up a statewide surrender program for people to turn in their now banned assault weapons. Literal gun confiscation.

I know.

I also know this will be all passed when they exempt LEO. This scenario has been played out over and over again.

The jack boots get a pass....which is why a public school teacher is not able to comprehend the situation. They have never been in the same situation as the plebs.

Your assumptions about my life amuse me.

We'll see what happens when they try next time. FWIW, I'm on record in this thread, several times, stating that when the JBT carve-out goes away, so does the opposition from CoPs. But by all means, just ignore that and continue with your ad-hominems: they're cute.

I am not making assumptions about your life. I have no knowledge on that. I am making a statement on the teachers union.

Backing off your ad-hominem actually just makes you look even less respectable, but sure. Whatever.

When the new bill comes out, I'm sure there'll be much to discuss. Meanwhile, some of you insist on mopping your brow about what might-have-been. That's fine, but not too productive in my view.

News flash: just because it doesn’t happen today doesn’t mean it won’t happen tomorrow. Today’s compromise is tomorrow’s loophole. Just the simple fact that the legislature had the audacity to straight up put gun confiscation in even a draft version of the bill should give every single gun owner in this state cause for concern. Brow mopping is absolutely warranted, regardless of how “productive” you think it is. Everyday it’s becoming more and more dangerous to be a gun owner here in MA.

He’s a teacher who doesn’t like ad-hominums. 😂😂😂

100% 4420 v2 arrives with a JBT exemption, active and retired. Then we will see these "Freedom Loving" JBTs turn their back on the serfs and continue on with their lives.

This is where you lost me.

Seriously. Stop the pantshitting.
I don't think it's total pants shitting.
We all know beyond a doubt what their end goal is.
Every journey has to have a first step.
They have learned to play the long game.
Which was it ,New York ? that the red flag thing started out as family , spouses, partners ect and now it's your kid's teacher, , neighbor , coworker , pretty much anyone you ever said hi to.

Tell them that NOT only will you vote for their opponent YOU WILL donate your time AND money to get their opponent elected.
I would love to do that, unfortunately the majority of these D chumps have no R opponents, and if they have primary competition its from some 23 year old uber progressive trying to get name recognition

I call rep Day’s office today regarding Jones. I asked what in his bill would have prevented this. I was told nothing, I then explained to her that we already have laws that criminals don’t follow, the only people this effects is legal gun owners. I ended the conversation with this. It appears like one would be better off unlicensed kinda like our driving law issues with the unlicensed operators. She was speechless. Said she would pass it on.

Needs to happen to a lot more lunatic leftist/socialist DimocRAT pols at all levels. Maybe someday they will figure out the real cause of violent crime: criminals. 🤔

Unfortunately, the so-called progressives are genetically incapable of understanding that the entire issue of crime is a direct result of the actions and choices freely made by criminals........and despite the left-wing propaganda spewed forth on a daily basis arguing otherwise....... that simple fact will remain incontestable until the end of time.

Madam Chairwoman........welcome to the reality that the rest of us have to confront on a daily basis as we go about our business in a lawful manner.

The Selectboard in my town (I'm on it) wrote a letter to our rep and signed along with our police Chief. We figured it might send a little different shock to the norm. Lots of feedback that it was appreciated.
I love it!!!

I am not on the Selectboard but I know all 3 members and the chief. I am going to run this idea up the flag pole.

Odd, she doesn't admit she was wrong with what she was supporting and wants illegal guns off the streets. WTF? How about prosecuting and appropriate incarceration?
at this point, my only disappointment is she didn't have to blow a whistle. These #*(&#^#*&^$ people need to reap what they sew....

This is a great letter. Particularly about the inevitable waste of resources defending it in court but sadly not including the absurd expenses administratively if implemented.

The new release of this turd should be coming soon from a legiiscreature near you..

And, of course there's the G.O.A.L. rally on September 27th GOAL - BringBruentoBoston
