Might not have been an available option from the shipper/seller. IDK.So much for discreet packaging.
If the shipment is over a certain quantity it's hazmat regulation that the declaration be on the packaging. The shipper is not going to ignore hazmat regulations for your "discretion". Code of federal regulations (CFR) 49. Covers these regulations.Considering my perceived quality of "SOME" of the delivery drivers ive had, I just wish the shippers were allowed to be a little more discreet with their packaging. My situational awareness meter goes up a few notches for a couple of days after a delivery like this.....Rant Over, thnks

CFR 49 may have prevented "discretion". Hazmat certification was my job for a few years took the course and recert course 3 times. So much for discreet packaging.
I understand the label is required only for bulk shipments. However, it is always optional for non-bulk, too. How many pounds of powder arrived in the box?Considering my perceived quality of "SOME" of the delivery drivers ive had, I just wish the shippers were allowed to be a little more discreet with their packaging. Placards are required on the outside of a trailer for 1000 lbs or more. The label is required on every single pkg. regardless of weight.I understand the label is required only for bulk shipments. However, it is always optional for non-bulk, too. How many pounds of powder arrived in the box?
I know they wont, i just said i wished they could.....If the shipment is over a certain quantity it's hazmat regulation that the declaration be on the packaging. If a shipment is over a certain quantity depending on the material it has to be labeled.
I hear ya. I recently had a case of 9mm show up in it's factory box. It says CCI/Speer 9mm Blzr. brass 115 Gr. 1150 rds. on the box.
Maybe a dumb question, but is your address on the package that gets sent to AAP?If you sign up for UPS My Choice (it’s free) you can set you delivery preference to a nearby “UPS Access Point”. Mine is an Advanced Auto Parts store just a few minutes from my house. You can pick anyone you want that would be convenient for you: near home, near work, on the route, etc. UPS emails you when there is something for you to pick up.

At my old job, one of the other people got a delivery from our friends in CT. Discreet packaging.
FedEx Ground kid says, "This is ammo, right?"
"Why do you think that?"
"Well, its got a hazmat label, it's heavy, it rattles, and it's from Connecticut."
They know what's in the plain brown wrappers.
If you're that concerned about opsec, you're better off just having a dealer buddy take it in for you and pay him a small fee for handling... most of the ones that I have a business relationship one won't give a shit about this because they don't deal with most reloading crap anyways.I know they wont, i just said i wished they could.....
My neighbors are all good. We got each others backs.....So does your busy body neighbors.
Luckily when I order Viagra and sex toys for the weekend, the packaging is more "discreet".
Although it should be labeled as "Explosive".
My mailman knows what's in the boxes I get. He's very pro-gun and doesn't care. All my neighbors know I have lots of guns and don't give a sh*t either.
