I honestly don't know for sure. I looked on glocktalk and my prefix is DTD and apparently that's a 2.5 gen. Maybe because it doesn't have a rail. But I don't think 27's ever have rails.

Correct, model 27 is the big fotay. The model 30 is the compact .45 offering.

Yea, I just read the s/n project thread on glock talk and got the same info, but like you said lewis, I haven't seen a G27 with rails to date, even when I was visiting FL shopping around with a friend of mine.
