S&W 681-2 .357. Basically a 686 with fixed sights. Apparently very hard to find. I didn’t even know they existed until this one fell into my lap on a package deal from someone moving out of MA and needed the money. It has the nicest double action trigger I’ve ever felt in a wheelgun.

It is a nice looking pistol. But since you brought it up, why didn’t they align the hex pattern on the slide with the hex pattern on the grip? Isn’t attention to detail one of the things you’re paying for?

Spring 1944 Chicopee, MA, made Savage Enfield No. 4. Bolt and receiver match. Perfect 2-groove bore. Will try it out Sunday. I’m reacquiring a few favorite pieces I was forced to let go over the past couple of years.

Finally got around to doing a JC Arms FMG pistol build. Already have an SBR in 5.56 so did this guy in 300BLK.

It is a nice looking pistol. But since you brought it up, why didn’t they align the hex pattern on the slide with the hex pattern on the grip? Isn’t attention to detail one of the things you’re paying for?

I noticed that after I bought it. Not sure it would have stopped me, but it's noticable. Also, the top of the hex pattern on the front of the slide does not align with the hex at the rear. I'm guessing the thinking is most folk won't grab so high to rack it, but visually it might look better if they lined up. Overall I'm very happy with it and the real bonus is a 1/2 decent trigger out of the box.

Picked this up today. PSA AK47 with plum color Magpul furniture. Adjustable length folding stock. Sold my AK47s before leaving Mass. so this is a "replacement."

Nice build! I have an M10 I need to build out. Godammed AK pistol grip screw/nut I got from magpul I need to dremel though....

Here's the other side - pretty nice. Interesting thing about this gun is that the barrel rotates and locks like an AR. Or a Deagle.

i bought one in 45 15 yrs ago and still have it: i consider it the most reliable gun in my collection. a little bulky but conceals well in a desantis pancake holster

Nice!!! Is that an example of the top tier specific grade? I just was looking and seems like they have some for $1050, $700, and $650. I really like the looks of yours. How about any pitting above the wood line? Seem to be a thing. Thanks
