New Bill would kill Non-Resident LTC

Bill HD 4420 would kill off the ability for non-residents to apply for and receive temporary LTC

The entire bill is shit but this part makes literally no sense.

This would be a great addition to the thread that is discussing the Bill. Thanks.

Wouldn't it make alot more sense to focus on the actual criminals ? For example. They catch criminals with guns all the time. Then they slap them on the wrist and sometimes possibly celebrate their minority status. Give them 6 months probation. Slap on the wrist for the selling of drugs.

Wouldn't it make more sense to charge these criminals with the crimes and throw the book at them. Clean up the streets from the gangs. Get everyone in order. Make people want to be good citizens and not thugs, out of fear of getting locked up.
But instead they attack the folks who work 9-5 and follow the laws and constitution. Oh and pay taxes.
This is really stupid.... they don't prosecute the criminals and try to take away good citizens rights.
So how do they honestly end up so stupid? And what effectively are they actually trying to accomplish.
Because the expected results will not change from the status quo, for the simple fact the actual issues are not being addressed.

That's sweetheart deals , slaps on wrists, violent crime....

Do they honestly think this is the best next step? How could they be so dumb? Is the real issue too difficult to address?

And also... I want the serial numbers for the 85 billion in military equipment this government gave taliban/china

Oh please. Please pass it. A Comity Clause case to follow Heller-McDonald-Bruen would be lovely. I thought we were going to have to start with NY State, which is supposedly a little 'wink/nod' about certain non-resident permits despite not having any mechanism for issuing them.
