That was one of the first guns I purchased, and I still have it.Couple more that came from my old man. On the seecamp there is some surface rust on the top of the slide (not sure if it will come through) any ideas to remove safely without damaging the finish? Also got a Walther .22, honestly not a fan as the thing jams consistently but it was free sooo.

So many aftermarket pieces.for the 10/22 , only thing still stock on mine is the receiver itself.Probably the lamest acquisition to show off, but here it is. Mfg date from late 85 or early 86. Going to be changing it around quite a bit. Will post it again when it’s all done.

Same but why? They suck out of the boxSo many aftermarket pieces.for the 10/22 , only thing still stock on mine is the receiver itself.
Affordable , that's a good start. I completely disagree with your opinion about sucking out of the box.Same but why? They suck out of the box
You can disagree. They suck compared to many other offerings out of the box. Savage a22 and b22 just 2. Better barrel, trigger, stock and function for less money. Go try for your Appleseed out of the box and get back to me.Affordable , that's a good start. I completely disagree with your opinion about sucking out of the box.
Thanks for the reccomendation. Spent a couple minutes with it this eveing and it's almost entirely gone. I will give it a second pass sometime tomorrow.Try this. View attachment 591894

What barrel do have on there?Got the 10/22 turned around. Pretty pleased how it came out. May end up adding a hand stop to it. Need to get out in the woods for some red squirrel and a see how it feels before I make that decision.
