My latest NFA purchase.

This is my first true RR machine gun.i was alittle nervous to buy it sight unseen. While its overall condition looks nice i would have liked a photo down the barrel at the rifling.
While in theory this MG has a factory warranty, ruger has no 13" ss barrels left.
While i am sure i can have one cut down or made, it woud void the warrentee.

Doesnt sound like the warrentee will ever be of any use anyway. I dont plan on firing this one very much anyway. If the riflings ok great.. if its not ill probably leave it and enjoy shooting it alottle more thani origially planned to.

Ill be calling ruger just to get first hand info from them and see what they have to say.

I keep saying this is the last one. But im keeping an eye out for a couple more low end MGs.
Im not a mac fan, but if i stand by and watch the price reach a point where i wont buy it i know ill regret it.


Edit..ruger website confirms no parts no service available..
Im not worried plenty of competent gunsmiths out there if i ever want anything done

so far I like this stock, maxim defense cqb. need a little more range time behind it but the few times since changing it out I am pleased.

The 53 in .223/5.56 is very easy to shoot and control. It is only a tad larger than a MP-5 and packs so much more punch. I had sold this pre sample 53 five years ago to premier HK roller lock builder D.J. Getz and was fortunate enough to get it back again today. With all these transfers finally being approved lets see some pics guys!
