Found this the other day....I'm sure Daddy (and Mum, of course) was all swelled up with pride. I know I surely would have a few burst buttons. This takes me back about 12 0r 13 years. ('Cept my daughter has no use for ARs)
Any of the rest of you been so lucky to have an experience such as this; to have your little one out on the firing line?

Not to mention that the only rifles I shoot are a 10-22 or a Garand... I'm not an AR shooter, either. [smile]

I haven't seen any poodles at Riverside, anyway. [pot]

She probably doesn 't want to embarrass Dad too badly!

I've had the good fortune of having all 3 of my girls and my son on the firing line at one time or another. I give 'em all credit for trying. Two of them still shoot!

My 9 year old daughter has fired a PPK, A star Model B 9mm, SW 990l .40, and AK in that order. Plus a few others. We use to go to the range about twice a month. She then asked to bump fire my Mac 11. I let her do it with 5 rounds.

Now she is close to being 10 and she gets bored, and does not want to go to the range anymore. I think she would have fun with skeet/trap, but I don't think she will be ready for that for a few years.

Jeff, it could have been my older daughter, you know years back the only gun she wanted to fire and shot was the AR..then again she has shot: 44mag, .308, .38, .45LC, .45ACP, 12GA...oh hell, she has fired all my guns and yours, now my younger daughter only likes the .22LR.. and my son this summer will have his first go on a .22LR
