Would You Use Lethal Force To Save This Girl?

Ya I don’t think it’s different. Race isn’t something that belongs in the discussion of would you save an innocent rape victim. Only racists would decide not to save someone because of the victims skin color.

If not for the difference races of the girl victim and male kidnapper - nobody would have known there was a problem.
When a Black man is dragging off a Black girl it’s safe to think they are related. Just go to Walmart and you’ll see this sort of behavior being exhibited daily.
However when you see a Black man dragging a White girl, that is not a healthy situation that any decent person should scrutinize.
I sure hope that I would have asked what was going on if I found myself in this situation.
I would not use lethal force unless there was an imminent and unavoidable threat if death or grevous bodily injury to myself or the girl.
I would save a Black girl too, but if being abused by a Black man it would be harder to know their relationship. Sadly, violence and beatings are more common in Black families so such behavior may just be normal to them.
I’m not going to risk my own life and freedom over domestic abuse.

No one is going to castigate you for citing statistics. That isn't what people are talking about. You choose to title your own threads with whatever words you want. The sources you want. But when you quote sources, that means you bumped into it based on your own search history, or if it is completely removed by search engines, because you frequent it yourself.

Would I use deadly force to stop a rape, yes. And luckily...
But legality shouldn't override what is right. I've tried to teach my kids that doing the right thing will probably get you in trouble with authority, but you sleep better.
About 20 years ago, there was a story about a father in Chicopee who tried to sell his 4 year old daughter at a gas station "for a forty." (I don't know what that refers to, or what that price is) My wife an I talked about it, and were I offered that deal, I'd shoot so he can't escape with the kid. And in Chicopee, I'd probably go to jail, and I'd be ok with that. As I get older, the thought of life in jail becomes less of a threat.

You're more of a hero than most gun owners then. I'd wager most gun owners are armed and ready to defend their own lives, as well as their families and loved ones only... not the body politic. Sure you could kill a perp trying to rape a little girl and get exonerated and the local news calls you a hero. You saved her. Then later you find out the rapist you just killed had a brother in MS-13 and they just figured out where your entire family lives. One by one, your family gets their throat slashed sicario style, making sure you stay alive long enough to mourn each and every one, before you're the last one to get dismembered once they catch up to you. Chances are a rapist isn't tied to a huge criminal network and brotherhood and is just a lone waste of oxygen, but that is a chance folks with a lot to lose would rather not take.

Sort of seems fake. You’re telling me in this day and age of the ego and doxxing. She didn’t show her face? She didn’t try and get his face? The camera is not looking at the girls face? What was she wearing? A badge cam?

I'm not saving anyone these days unless you are family, friend or related. Nothing to gain and everything to lose for the most part. Years ago I would do it however these days they'll throw you in jail, try to ruin your life and leave you in financial ruin.

Honestly, the way I kind of feel about it in most instances is everyone is responsible for their own safety. If I see an adult being victimized, I'm just going to observe maybe record and do what I can to be a good Witness. But I'm not going to intervene. The laws just make it dangerous to do so. At the end of the day that person was an adult who chose not to carry, chose not to equip themselves to defend themselves.
Now if I see a child being victimized, someone who does not enjoy such freedom of choice or ability, I don't know that I would be able to resist the basic call of humanity to do what's right and take out the trash.
