I called a couple of gunshops to see if they carried new single action revolvers other than Ruger and was told by one shop that the ONLY new single action revolvers available in Massachusetts are Rugers.
I went to the list on the state's website and low and behold the shop keeper was right. I find this to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I was looking for a true .38 special for my son and I cannot buy one. No EMF, Cimarron, Uberti or Colt available in MA. I cannot believe that if I had the money, I can't even buy a Colt.
Vote for Frisoli!!!

..
There are quite a few Colts available, for a price.
If you're looking to spend less than the ~2K that a Colt commands, check out the Ruger New Vaquero, available in .357 and .45 Colt.

I am not looking for a Colt-I just wanted to make the point regarding the "list". I would have liked to have the option to buy some of the clones for my son to shoot, but I cannot. I think I will be looking for a .32 H&R Ruger. This is most likely the best option anyway, I just don't like not having a choice.

Ironically Greg D(err) is also the person who worked so hard to try and push the SA revolver exemption to the regulations. [wink] If you don't like it get out there on the front lines and start calling your representative!
