The fact remains that the law is the law. When you break it, chances are good that you will wind up in a situation where you have to decide whether to comply with cops or be a finnicum
Nope, you're wrong on that. Of course, you weren't there, nor was I. So, we don't really KNOW what happened, we just review what little evidence there is, then make our choices as to what it means.
Here's how it will play out with some people. Since the cops will summarily execute you, whether you surrender or not, then they will think the wise choice is to either take as many out with them, or hope they get them all, therefore getting them out of a pretty bad situation.
You think the cops don't shoot innocent unarmed people surrendering, then cover it up? Surprise, it happens, and even in New England it happens, even not all that long ago. Heck, they'll even shoot an unarmed handicapped woman that was in the process of surrendering an unloaded muzzle loading single shot pistol to the county sheriff (THE sheriff, not a deputy). Her son was standing right next to the sheriff, and he's a USMC veteran, been deployed too.
A state cop shot her, AFTER she threw the pistol down, per his order. It was covered up and the local media lied about the pistol.
How do I know? I was there very shortly after it happened. I've heard from the son, and the woman's daughter.
And, the sheriff is pretty pissed at the state cops.
In the case here, I'm surprised they didn't wait until he was armed with a "semi-automatic assault baby".
Holy crap dude, are you actually saying that if the law says round up Jews and murder them you'd do it? Have you been fitted for your brown shirt yet?
Nah, he's probably waiting for a black one.
