oregon militia seizes building

I'd like to ask you something. Why did law enforcement continue firing on the truck for several minutes when they weren't being fired upon with three people inside the truck who, by the way were not firing back? Where was the threat that warranted continually firing on that truck?

Take you time making your case....I'll wait!

I'm pretty sure those were flashbangs they were tossing from the sound and the smoke.

The fact remains that the law is the law. When you break it, chances are good that you will wind up in a situation where you have to decide whether to comply with cops or be a finnicum

Nope, you're wrong on that. Of course, you weren't there, nor was I. So, we don't really KNOW what happened, we just review what little evidence there is, then make our choices as to what it means.

Here's how it will play out with some people. Since the cops will summarily execute you, whether you surrender or not, then they will think the wise choice is to either take as many out with them, or hope they get them all, therefore getting them out of a pretty bad situation.

You think the cops don't shoot innocent unarmed people surrendering, then cover it up? Surprise, it happens, and even in New England it happens, even not all that long ago. Heck, they'll even shoot an unarmed handicapped woman that was in the process of surrendering an unloaded muzzle loading single shot pistol to the county sheriff (THE sheriff, not a deputy). Her son was standing right next to the sheriff, and he's a USMC veteran, been deployed too.

A state cop shot her, AFTER she threw the pistol down, per his order. It was covered up and the local media lied about the pistol.

How do I know? I was there very shortly after it happened. I've heard from the son, and the woman's daughter.

And, the sheriff is pretty pissed at the state cops.

In the case here, I'm surprised they didn't wait until he was armed with a "semi-automatic assault baby".

Holy crap dude, are you actually saying that if the law says round up Jews and murder them you'd do it? Have you been fitted for your brown shirt yet?

Nah, he's probably waiting for a black one.

You're right police and the .gov never lie, the report should be 100% truthful.

They never lie, but they do "bend the truth" frequently enough.

Now, Derek knows who I used to work for, and I know who he used to work for.

I don't trust the government, especially the .gov kind (email address extension). The .mil kind is a different story, for the most part. And, if (when) something does happen in this country, a major part of the .mil (DOD) folks will come down on the side of freedom. We swore an oath to defend the Constitution, not blindly follow the Commander in Chief.

I'm still waiting to find out if the agency in charge of the building ever asked them to leave? If so it was trespassing, if not it was camping with out a licence... Neither are "FBI hrt" response worthy crimes nor are they even worthy of stopping them as they leave (isn't that exactly what the government wanted them too do, leave the buildings?). The only thing the police had any right to do was deny them re entry to the area (again based on trespassing charges, if its legally possible to trespass on public land?)

Give it up. Your lost

I would say the same to you. If you can't watch that video and understand why he got shot, you are being willfully ignorant. I get it that you guys hate cops and the government, but stop grasping at straws. It's pathetic.

The facts as seen from the video and audio are that Finnicum drove away froma traffic stop at a high rate of speed. He approached the roadblock at a high rate of speed and made no attempt to stop until fired upon. Then he jumped out of the truck and was shot after reaching for his gun. Every bang from that point on were a combination of flashbang grenades and less lethal rounds (beanbags or something else).

If the cops were hell bent on murdering these guys as you all state so adamantly, why use less lethal and not just light up the truck with live rounds? Its a laughable argument. Finnicum made his bed and now he sleeps in it.

Anyway, I'll leave you guys to it. This is like debating gun rights with a raving libtard. It doesn't matter who is right because they are just going to stick their heads in the sand and ignore reality.

So you didn't watch the video.

Then he jumped out of the truck and was shot after a cop or two thought that he was reaching for his gun.

Fixed it for you to reflect reality. I doubt we'll ever know whether that's what he was actually doing or not. That's the part of this that I have a tough time
with.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, lick boots, BLAH

To all of you reading this, I can tell you this.

First off, you're ALL making judgements over a small portion of the info.

It's out there, it's findable and it isn't very pretty.

I won't post links or anything else on it. Start looking under "BLM abuse".

See, the government has also been arresting people that got involved in much more minor ways, and the things they get charged with are pretty outrageous. So, to some of us that have known about this for a while, it doesn't surprise us at all that the cops shot him. And, I hear it's connected to some very ruthless people, one of which is running for POTUS.

Yeah, it's also related to the recent laughable arrests lately, and those arrests would be funny, if it wasn't for the fact that they'll somehow make them stick, or bankrupt the subjects until they plead out.

The BLM (Bureau of Land Management) is about as bad as the ATF was 35 years ago, if not worse.

Your version is even better than the FBI's , send it in , they might want to change their story (Again).
Watch the side by side of the two videos.' and try to pay attention to detail.
He was fired on about a second after he opened the door to the truck.
The over head from the drone shows him supposedly reaching into his jacket for a gun after he had already staggered around for a while and moved away and toward the back of the truck.
Let's see how long you can keep your hands over your head after being gut shot.

I'm anything but a cop hater, but I know a jacked up ambush when I see one.
Do a little homework on HRT's long and storied history of unjustified killings and get back to me.

I'll get you started

A Govt. building paid for by the people.

I just can't believe how some of the guys here think there was actually some conspiracy to murder an American citizen followed by some big cover up.

This Finnicum guy dared the feds to shoot him. He was a known member of an armed group illegally squatting in a government building. When they tried to arrest him, he drove off after screaming "shoot me!" and attempted to run a road block.

When he got out of the vehicle, he clearly reaches for his side where there are documented pictures of him carry a weapon. Sure lots of things could have happened, but the video clearly shows my version to be accurate. All this bullshiite about when he was hit first, etc is speculation.

I don't hate cops personally, most I've met seem to be decent enough people when not being cops. I hate the way the govt has militarized the police as a whole and made them, the FBI, HRT, etc into hit squads carrying out murders at will, acting as judge, jury and executioner on the side of the road. Someone else referred to them as a cartel and I agree.

They had no right or reason to ambush Finicum in the first place who was headed to see the Sheriff to negotiate a peaceful ending to his trespassing/camping without a license offense, which is all it was. There was no violence, no hostages, no work stoppages, nothing to warrant or justify how over the top the govt went. There was no reason at all for it to come to a head on the road. The only reason it happened was because the govt wanted it that way, violent and bloody.

If they were worried he was going to run they could have escorted him to the meeting and made sure he didn't take off. Nope, the govt didn't want a peaceful ending, they wanted blood and they got it. They wanted to send a message to anyone who doesn't want to bow down to their tyranny and they did that. Well, message received and my response is f-you.

All they have done is tell the next group not to trust any authorities or anyone wanting to negotiate and to come out guns blazing and take out as many govt thugs as they can since they are going to be shot anyway.

+1

The best summary of what has happened.

So all you guys that watched the video, I may have missed it but where did he make a verbal threat to harm any officer? Did you even hear bad language from Lavoy? Does carrying a gun make you a threat? If so then every cop in the nation is a threat. Does running away make him a threat? When he came around that short corner and vehicles parked in the road and he couldn't stop, he avoided impact to not harm anyone. He jumped out of the rig while being shot at with his hands up so was he a threat then?

He was shot in the back and his hands come down so I guess that was when he was a threat...

He was assassinated...pure and simple. Anyone who continues to argue the point after that video from inside the truck was made available are the new Brownshirts of the 21st Century (IMHO of course)
