Prepper Fiction - A different take
I started The Change Series by S.M. Stirling a few years back... it sort of gives a different take on prepping. In the story, electronic devices and fueled items don't work: no guns, no cars, no lighters... nothing. It's back to archery, farming, and open fires. The first book is called Dies the Fire and was great on audiobook. Really makes you rethink the backup plans for things like generators and even guns.

Just ran across this and started reading. I see I'll have something to do while the range is closed this Winter.

Reading the series 299 Days by Glen Tate. He is a member on another forum I read www.thesurvivalpodcast.com. He has published 4 in the series so far and there are 6 more coming. Definitely recommend.
I highly enjoyed the first volume. And I wanted more from the ending , of course. Knowing that it was a cliffhanger for part 2 makes me happy now.
Just bought the first two books. Got some pretty good reviews.
