All of the lever-action, bolt-action and other guns listed in the appendices are actually exempt from the ban.

Oh, definitely have an effect. The AWB flies in the face of Heller, and the politicians KNOW it. They still don't care.

Appendix A shall not be construed to

Appendix A so long as this subsection
