Sorry so blurry. The shot I have with the flash is crisper, but doesn't show the machining detail. This is a Kucer Miniature (website) and sold back in the mid-1990's for around $9000. If he made them today, he'd probably sell them for around $15k. FULLY functioning, to include barrel rifling, safety and field stripping. Saw this and met the son at the Stamford Fine Arms show last weekend.

Here's a video of one in a collection. Too bad he doesn't work the action for us!

Is this the same guy who made the 1/3 FG42? The engraving and logos on the C96 are amazing in detail. Nothing like that here I can think of but for a V12 Ferrari DOHC motor that fits in your desk top and runs 10K RPM a local collector has. Thanks for the post Mr.Mauser I will be watching that a few times.

Yeah, "weak"... better send them to me. [wink]

ETA: I see a M1928A1 Thompson in his gallery but don't see an MG42. I do know (from his son at the show), that every gun is made from a real, working model that he breaks down and duplicates in miniature, so the MG42 may have been a bit out of reach...

Someone ask my dad why he 'needs' a Vietnam-era helicopter-launched wire-guided air to ground missile in the living-room.

And yes, it clearly says "dummy" on the side. No rocket fuel, or even any explosive bolts (that we know of) either.
