These were on the market here only for a short time in the late 90's/early 2000nds and may
have been a ltd edition for Wischo who were one of the two S&W importers at that time.

If I didn't have my 629 Classic I wouldn't hesitate to buy its nicely blued cousin, that's for sure.

5" 629 .44 Custom shop no dash. I love a deep blued finish but this was acquired to use so ther would be lots of cleaning and cylinder indexing and rotation marks. She who must be obeyed took the 686 and won't return it.

Hi Forrest Yes a factory one I lettered it....only one I know of based on a 25-2.
Here is the whole gun and everything lettered even the stocks which is pretty odd as they pre date the revolver by about a decade.
