The crazy thing is that's not stupid money anymore for those guns.

I should have bought two m8 when they were like 1,500 bucks or less. I'm pissed that I didn't get into the last production run in the early 2000s.

I bought my last P7 out of the classifieds on here for $950. That was in 2019. I’ve gotten some great deals on here over the years but that one takes it.

Sticking a can on a P7 doesn’t seem like a great idea. Between the action and the size/purpose there are better options, and that’s without getting into the cost.
