Hello,


I have an excellent condition Remington built 03-A3 built March 1943. It has the original cleaning kit in the butt of the stock. The vote is very clean and has been in my stepfathers family since issued. I live in NY state and have no idea how to go about selling it? Idk where to list it legally or what to ask for it.

To list something in the classifieds here, you need to join the forum. It's around $20 to do that and way cheaper than listing on Gunbroker etc.

Sell to a local gun store? Of course you'll get a lower price because they'll need to make a profit. Possibly you can find a local NY forum like this one. I assume in NY you can take it to a dealer to do the sale transfer.

I have no clue about NY licensing thus I recommend looking for a local forum.

This, OP. It's $24 now. F***in' inflation. But you're in NYS, and most of the people around this site aren't going to want to go to your state to do the transfer. So BPT to come here, which you can't do lawfully if you don't have a LTC.

And it's only an '03. I doubt you'll have much luck.

If all original and in good shape it could fetch around $1K.

Any Mass FFL who orders more than they can offload at panic prices, will be safe to offload to non-Mass FFLs at the price they paid.
