Rimfire Rifle Match, April 7th, 2013, UPDATE

Anyone have some big mags that will run in a nordic upper? Supposed to be the same mags as Atchisson, Ciener, CMMG, Model 1 Sales, Spikes Tactical, Tactical Solutions, or Target Master.

Jeff, you may have to share, but I'm bringing mags that will work in the Nordic.

so I guess that it's not an NRA 3 position smallbore mtach. Such matches are hard to find.

It's a speed match, along the lines of Walls of Steel.

I'm in RI and it's an hr ride for me. Might have to pack some BBQ for the ride down. Ribs and eggs for breakfast. I'll be wearing camo to hide the drips.

I was asked by the match director, to post that a Limited Division will be run. Magazines will be limited to 10 rounds.
I do not know if you'll be able to shoot both Open and Limited Divisions.

Lets not complicate this match as it's their first one and I'm sure they will be willing to accept ideas and critique after the match is over. As far as I'm concerned it's run what you got and have fun.

That's the intent. However peoplle that don't have big mags (newer shooters in particular) inquired about running with 10 rounders.

I have enough 15-22 magazines that I'll probably run in the open class.

No mag restrictions in RI Ya just got to dig them up from your backyard and sneak in RI with them from the peoples republic.

I think we need a clarification on what will be OPEN and what will be LIMITED. Is the only difference mag capacity or is there more like iron sights, optics, etc.?

Not trying to be difficult, just trying to find out what's going on. I liked the original but whatever they decide I will be there.

You RI Eyetaliens are just easily cornfused. And just so you are aware, there is a huge difference between a Scot in a Kilt and an Italian in a skirt so dress appropriate please

If your going to show up with your garter holster and tactical heels your going to have to register at the border as some sort of deviant and risk arrest for crimes against lead. And I know quite well the difference between a Scot in a Kilt and an Italian in a skirt. The wife has better legs that are shaved and wouldn't be caught dead in plaid unless it's naughty school girl night!

Yikes I'm closer to Mohegan Sun than I am to home at the match. Maybe I can just take the ferry over to Block Island after all my ammo is gone.

Or should I just go to Uncasville for dinner? Hmmmmm . . . what do I do with my rifle while I'm in the casino? Can't CCW in there can I?

Hope I don't have grandaughter-sitting duties in Brooklyn that Sunday.
