Scope Mount Advice

Hi All,
New to scope rings/mount sizing. Any recommendations on the appropriate size for a Vortex Diamondback 3x9x40mm. I am looking to put it on a 15-22 rifle for the time being. Ideally a quick detach so can still use irons. Was looking at something like this but believe this is only for 30mm tubes?

R U sure of the tube diameter. If you go to the source page on VORTEX and open the specifications drop down menu it will tell you.
Then on the same page it will have the recommended accessories available. Pick what you want and then shop the web or LGS for them.

That scope is a 1” tube. So you’ll need 1” rings or mount. Ring/mount height depends on a few things.

Thanks! Appreciate the clarification on the tube size. Just went back to read the full spec.

And going back to read your original post. You say you want QD and it’s going on a 15-22. So the rings I posted probably aren’t the best option
