If I may ask...what are your thoughts on the ACE Front sight block?

Well, it looks good, not to heavy, and mounts rock solid. On the other hand the finish is not great, the allen bolts are to long and stick out the other side when fully tightened, (I had to cut more then an 1/8 inch off each), and the 2 half circle things (whatever you call them) on either side of the front sight post bend easily. I bent one in about 1/4 inch when installing it. The good thing is that the metal was so soft I just bent it right backout with some needle nose pilars. Basically it works great, but I wouldn't depend on it when zombies attack.
Spend the extra $$ and buy a bolton gas block/ sight combo or weld on an HK front sight.

Just posted this in new acquisitions. It's a Norinco 56S-1 imported by Sile, NY.
Just finished this one. Still need to "rust" it in a garbage bag, then cover it in motor oil and light it on fire. But it's together. Big thanks to 45collector for the front end of this puppy. It'll be a good shooter, I think. It's a mixture of imported Russian AKM (rear trunnion, trigger guard), bulgarian AK47 (bolt, carrier, selector), Egyptian AKM (grip), Bulgarian AK74 (top cover, recoil spring), and Romanian AKM parts (barrel, front trunnion, sight leaf, selector stop).
Added some flair along with a few laniards I found kicking around in the trash at work...
If I were to take up arms tomorrow to defend my freedom, this is what I'd carry over my shoulder.
Suck it, Trebek!
Nice Adam. The Hello Kitty sling is a nice touch.

But it's together.[/STRIKE] I decided to leave it be after I covered it in old motor oil and lit it on fire- it's got a very nice "used" hue to it now. And the athletic wrap gives your nose a blast of old motor oil when you get a nice cheek weld. Big thanks to 45collector for the front end of this puppy. It'll be a good shooter, I think. I'm speachless. That's a pretty sick looking rifle. The Hello Kitty sling is way over the top! What do the people around you say when you shoot it? Are they as speachless as I am?
Going triggerless?
