My intention was to put together an inexpensive, reliable and effective setup for "bad days" that might be coming, that would also be fun to shoot on the range and in comps\training exercises. The SU-16 more than fit the bill I added the Vortex Strikefire for optical duty, the sling is an Alaskan Magnum and the mags are 20r Magpul PMAGS. Sidearm is a S&W M&P9, BUG is the Kel-Tec PF-9. As this sits, if I have too I can pop the safe, grab the weapons and be armed with 84 rounds of 5.56 55g and 75 rounds of 9mm 115g
I was very happy after shooting with the Strikefire this morning, the scope is a great fit for the SU-16, as usual my time was short but I put another 80r through, with one FTE near the end(first issue with this SU) I was grouping 1.5-2" at 50yrds off a sandbag, I'm good with that. The cheek weld was fine for me with the high mount.
on to the pics :)
