New Acquisitions for July 2024

Since the upcoming shit, I asked my brother to borrow his credit card and pay him back.
Luckily, he said yes.
So I snagged a 92x vertec lower and a smith m&p competition lower as well.
Put my fs close to stock.
I have a barrel and slide for the smith.
I need to get the slide internals because it came bare.
The other 2 mags are coming.

whole Bunch of small caliber long guns showed up in July:
Marlin 60, Ruger PC 9mm, Ruger 10/22 takedown with drop in ruger trigger upgrade, Henry 22 Mag + Leupold 4x scope, Marlin 60 SS, Rock Island TM22 with 1.8 lb factory trigger!, Henry survival takedown, and CZ 600 Trail .223 with Sig 1-6 scope, Little Badger 22 Mag single shot with Leupold 4x scope

I actually did a trigger job on the Henry AR7, based on a YouTube video, and surprisingly got it down to about a 3.5 lb decent feeling break, not bad for such a
stripped down action!
But I was delighted with the TM22, the trigger is just great, and same with the Little Badger. Sometimes simplest is best.

Scored a brand new in box Leupold MK5HD 7-35x56 with illuminated Tremor 3 and a Spuhr ISMS for a silly deal today.
Hawes Western Marshall .22. For $75, I figure why not.
My dad has that exact same gun. It's the only one he's ever owned, and it's never been fired; it's been sitting in a box since 1969.
Sauer made those, before they merged with SIG.

Ditched the 1-8 atacr/rmr combo and went back to my trusty t2/mag combo on my cqb

CC is a little charred, but last of the “wants” before the BS starts the sig is the fuse 365

WOW, pretty close to mine!
Built the aero m4e1 at the last minute with parts a kind nes'ser wasnt going to use in time, and slapped a spare red dot on it
C308 is not from july, but its my other most recent aquisition. Finding an hk claw mount and paddle mag release have been a challenge

Swapped the hammer spring to lighten the DA. Ran Federal 150gr Syntech, Belom 124gr, Federal Syntech 115gr without a problem. Will polish the frame a bit, swap grips, maybe tune the recoil spring, maybe install a short reach reduction kit.
