Hey all,

I was going to go pick one of these fine rifles up this weekend. I was just hoping someone could share some information about what to look for in one of these rifles to make sure that I get a good quality piece. Ill be swinging by Four Seasons SAT early. Any pointers are appreciated.

Do a search for threads by member "MISURPS 4 ME" and you'll find a world of information on sks rifles. He 'da man.

I'm sure he'll make an appearance as soon as he sees "SKS" mentioned....

Awesome...SKS rifles are diesel. The second I shot one I knew I needed to have it.

Be prepared for a complete disassembly and degreasing if you buy a Yugo 59/66. They shoot great and are pretty much new rifles, but for a few $ more you can find a Norinco thats already cleaned and will shoot just as well if not a little better.
