I really like this 629. Are the grips stock? The extra meat on the barrel really makes it look current.

Yup, stock grip from factory.

My ruger sp101 gets that as well.......hoppes and a coppeer brush used gently on it works very well.....same for the burn rings on teh front of the cylinders.

I'll break out the Hoppes, thanks for the headsup...

Very nice. I notice the detective special has the shrouded ejector. Is it newer than your EDC? Does the exposed ejector snag on anything?
