I think they did a group buy for them once. I've seen them, and honestly, I kinda want one. If i had an AR, it would be a fun way to waste ammo[smile]

this looks remarkably like the Ruger 10/22 bump fire stock from 5 years ago. Check out this link: http://www.firefaster.com/index.html

ugh, the link is dead, well because ATF changed their mind later and company went belly up. You had to turn your stock to ATF or to the company or face time in Club Fed. History repeats itself. [sad2]

I think the difference between these stocks is the 10/22 stock had a spring to assist bumpfiring, and the ar stock doesn't.

IIRC the company has a decision letter from the ATF.

Those guys had the letter from ATF too, that's what's f-ed up about it, they are making them for a while until ATF changed their mind. Just wait until this gets popular and buzzkill commissars will show up.

They've been around for awhile now. If I buy one with cash how will they know where to find me?

i would think it would be made illegal as well. when i was at the shop i said that and the guy behind the counter showed me the letter. i just smiled. as if that makes any difference

They won't but if the ATF ever deems it contraband, and you don't turn it in or destroy it during the typical "amnesty" that follows such determinations, you might as well just go build out an illegal M16, because the punishment for possessing it is going to be the same.

I think these guys went about things a little differently than the Aikins thing, though, so it should be able to survive, but who knows.

Your finger pulls the trigger everytime...no modifications to the trigger assembly required. Perfectly legal, and different from it's predecessors. I say get one and have fun until it becomes an actual problem. Everyone in MA always complains about the stringency of our gun laws, then we finally get cut a break and are allowed to purchase an item which "basically" allows us to own and operate a "full-auto" AR15, and what do we do???....complain and come up with reasons not to buy them. I say it's worth the money and we are def brainwashed if we talk ourselves out of this one. And I'm sure the ATF earns itself a nice little "service fee" everytime one is sold.

And I know this was kind of an old thread but I am a new member poking around...

It's a lot of fun. On my 7" SBR it makes a ton of noise and flash, it sounds like a BAR chugging along. Definitely worth the money, but just like real full-auto, you end up spending a lot for ammo!

Its a loose fitting stock with a pistol grip attached to it with a finger rest on the pistol grip. I'm not saying it would look as pretty but it would be pretty simple project. Sorry if your parents never bought you legos. And 300 is expensive for a piece of injection molded plastic that is much simpler than most other stocks which sell for less than 100 bucks.

This has been brought up before. Your options are a $10,000 MG or a $300 stock.

Comparatively, it's inexpensive.

I am not sure I would compare a bubba toy to an M16. Admittedly, I have never used one of these stocks, but I have shot plenty out of M16's and MK18's. I can not imagine having the rifle moving all over the place would be anywhere near as effective for a real application of FA fire.

It probably is a fun range toy though.

Be advised the Nitro flash enhancer will cause uncontrolable smiling.....it is loud and causes an atomic fireball.
