Taunton Rifle and Pistol Club

Hi.

Yes, there are two separate sites. The indoor ranges are at 430 E. Britannia St, along with the clubhouse. The outdoor ranges are at 425 Titicut Road, Raynham.

We don't generally permit quickdraw; if you want to practice that, do it at home with an unloaded firearm.

Dear Dean,

By a vote of the membership your application has been accepted. The Club
welcomes you as a member, and hopes to see you at meetings and other club
sponsored functions. Monthly club business meetings are usually held the
first Sunday of the month, with the exception of July when no meeting is
scheduled. Meetings are held the second Sunday of the month if the first
Sunday is a holiday or holiday weekend. Annual dues are $125 for January 1,
2015 to December 31, 2015

Orientation must be attended before you may obtain your key card. The next
orientation on the rules and regulations of the club will be held on Sunday
November 22 2015 at 11:00am. If you cannot attend just go to the next
orientation on the fourth Sunday of the month at the same time.
Please bring your firearms license, if you currently have one, and this
letter with you

At the orientation you will receive your card key along with pertinent
club information. If you have a conflict with the dates or times of
orientation, please contact me and I will try to make other arrangements.

Turns out my wife is a better shot with a pistol than I am, "by a lot" I tell you I am really torn on how I feel about this.
I know I should be happy that she can handle a gun and will be able to defend herself. But I tell you they other side of my brain is taking a real beating on this one.

Outdoor Range Work Party
We will be holding a work party on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 9:00am at the outdoor range facility. This is our fall/winter clean up to get the ranges ready for winter. All members are welcome to attend as we can always use help with this task.

Annual Club Christmas Party, Sunday, December 6, 2015

Our annual Christmas party will be held after the December 6, 2015 business meeting which starts at 10am. There will be a breakfast buffet catered by Home Plate. This party is open to all members and is free of charge. This is a great opportunity to attend one of our business meetings and meet the people who run your club. Come down and join us for Christmas breakfast.

Thanks all for your hard work. I spend the day at camp Norse running the shotgun range for the scout reach program. Lots of new shooters first time with a shotgun.

Anon - don't worry. Its postmarked 2015. Historically, this e-board isn't waiting around to turn off all cards at 1 minute past midnight.

The previous time dues were due, non-paying folks had their access suspended for a month [and restored if dues were paid in January]. I can't be certain that will occur this year, but its likely.
 
Cards are going to be shut off if dues haven't been received by January 5th. You will have until the end of January to pay dues and get your card turned back to active. If you miss date you can get a chance to rejoin and pay the inition fee again after orientation.
