Pam Bondi seems like a shitty pick from a 2A perspective. No doubt about that. No idea about how she stacks up for the AG job on every other topic out there (the law is more than just 2A), but the bottom line is that she has to say she's going to enforce the law of the land in a frigging senate confirmation hearing. Not sure what that has to do with "Trump is pro Trump" though. Maybe OP is one of one of those people who thinks Trump is going to be coming for him/her/whatever.

Oh I don't know. My wife has these "bread" things that are basically thick, extra dry crackers. I mean, given the choice, 18th century sailors would pick hardtack every time. LOL

I'm trying to figure out what's bad about this. She's pro-2A but will follow the law. OK. Isn't that what we want? I mean, maybe there is some sort of consitutiotnal question. But do you really want an AG that is just out there willy-nilly applying laws? Haven't we had enough of that in the last 20 or so years?

I hope somebody remembers to hold her toes in the fire if she turns out to "not" follow the law.

But yes, the AG should be pretty much the first in line to OBEY the laws. It would be a nice change of pace, anyway.
 
Lol have we ever had a 2A president? This isn't news the only thing you'll ever be able to say is that because of the Supreme Court he doesn't suck as much as the other guys but it is what it is and it's not going to change because the bulk of the voters are too stupid to place a high level of importance on that issue. Whining about president X not being solidly pro gun won't change that status.

Trump wants to hit the ground running with a staff that is loyal to him and his agenda. There is a mountain of work to do to unravel the shit of the last four years. He does not want or need to be constantly worrying if they are trying to do end rounds behind his back like we saw in 2016. Give it some time. I have no doubt that if Bondi or anyone else is not doing what he wants he will replace them.

I know a place where you can get the best home made bread on the South Shore. My favorite is Sour Dough. She seems to have the right stuff considering who she has to please. Kinda like working for Anthony on the Twilight Zone.;)
